In His Word
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." – Psalm 119:105

Psalm 141:2 – “May my prayer be counted as incense”

2 May my prayer be counted as incense before You; the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.

141'2 - prayer as incense

Some people burn incense for the pleasing aroma it produces.  Have you considered how pleasing a righteous prayer is to God?  The book of Revelation describes “golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints” (5:8).  Be sure to offer your prayers in a way that they will be as incense, a sweet-smelling aroma to God.

Have a great day in His word!
