“the one who endures to the end”

In preparing His disciples for coming persecution, Jesus said, “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” (Matthew 24:13).

Living for the Lord is not always easy.  It can involve tribulation (:9), being hated by others (even family – Mark 13:12-13), etc.  Many allow themselves to be misled (:4-5, 11).  Some people fall away (:10), or their love grows cold (:12).  How do you endure and keep from becoming one of them?  Remember that salvation awaits those who do endure.  When you feel like quitting, endure.  When the world is against you, endure.  No matter what happens, endure.
